Work up! is a service design solution dedicated to help student to advance work experience and break into the work industry with the opportunity to minimize student loans.
Work up!
This is a people process
What makes service design interesting is the people that are involved create the organic interaction for the solution. We identified the different groups of people or organizations within our system and revealed their relationships and how they interact between each group. This includes what are the current systems and communication methods they are using, information required and values they hold.
Wireframes and Prototype
We used wireframes as a rapid prototyping tool to visualize our solutions. A digital prototype was created for our final video presentation.
Through pinpointing their experience during different processes by researching and roleplaying each individual group, we revealed a list of touch points, supports, needs, missed communications and considerations that could further strengthen their outcomes and goals.
This exchange of skilled work for credit idea was manifested in 48 hours at the 2014 Vancouver Global Service Jam. The project brief for this event was a series of conjoined squares.
